Emilia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy aguardiente [sugar cane liquor], pigs and feed for the pigs.
Emilia is 52 years old. For more than approximately 20 years she has lived in her own house. She lives in a quiet community where the people make a living from commerce, livestock and agriculture, in the Cayalti district in the province of Chiclayo in the Lambayeque region on the North coast of Peru. Emilia makes a living selling pure aguardiente made from cane sugar and has a licence for her home. She has run this business for approximately the last 5 years. She also makes a living raising and buying/selling pigs, and has very good references from her neighbours and customers. She needs the loan to have working capital (to buy aguardiente, pigs and feed for the pigs) and for various other expenses. In this way she will increase her income and will be able to improve her quality of life.
