Jianguo's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more pigs and feeds.

Jianguo's story

Jianguo is a 42-year-old man who makes a living raising pigs. He has two daughters who are both in school, and he has to support his old parents. He started to raise pigs four years ago, and at the end of the year, he will sell more than 20 pigs. So far, he has about 30 pigs to be raised and will be sold in the near future. He pays for the whole family's daily costs with the money he earns via raising pigs.

Jianguo has been unable to walk without crutches since he was young, for when he was a little boy he developed a severe illness and did not get on-time treatment.

This year, the costs of raising pigs are increasing. Furthermore, his parents are getting older, and cannot make a living for themselves. In order to improve their living environment and standards, Jianguo requested 20,000 from MicroCred. He will use the money to purchase more pigs and feeds. He hopes that he will earn enough money to rebuild his house to provide a more spacious living situation for his parents, so that he enables the elderly to enjoy their old age well into the future.
