Sainakan's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to purchase some calves and lambs in order to help bolster her income.
Sainakan is 63 years old, a widow, and the mother of four children. She has higher education and is on a pension. As a main source of income for her family, she works with livestock breeding and field crop cultivation, after having started 24 years ago. Thanks to Sainakan's persistent work, her farm currently has seven cows and a horse. She also grows potatoes for own use and sale on a plot of land of 0.56 hectares. The income from the business is small, and not enough for a decent life. With an aim to further develop her business, Sainakan turned to the bank "Bai Tushum" for a loan in the amount of 150,000 som (KGS) to purchase calves and lambs to breed and sell. Sainakan plans to invest the income from the loan in further increasing the number of livestock, to have the opportunity to improve her material well-being.
