Yanina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to invest in wood, wire, and nails.
Yanina is 24 years old. She grew up in a family dedicated to raising livestock, which is why she decided to continue with this legacy. She has gotten excellent results and has succeeded thanks to her effort and commitment. She now has five years of experience in raising and selling goats and pigs. She sells the animals to merchants in the Caribe region. She is dedicated to this work from 6:00am to 2:00pm, and she sells the animals weekly. She also makes cheeses from a recipe she learned from her ancestors. She distributes the cheese to her clients in the neighborhood where she lives in the southwestern part of Barranquilla. With the goal of making some improvements to her land, she is applying for her first Kiva loan through the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo. She will invest in wood, wire, and nails. Yanina wants to graduate from school and continue her education in search of a better future.
