Aguilas De Corazón Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy wood wholesale.

Aguilas De Corazón Group's story

The “AGUILAS DE CORAZÓN” coomunal bank has started their 14th loan cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Los Andes regional branch. It is made up of 8 members and is led by a board of directors with Wara as the President. The businesses that the communal bank members run are varied. Amongst them are: selling doors, selling food, cellphone sales, furniture sales, selling fruit juice and the sales of cosmetics.

The loan they are taking out will benefit these micro-entrepreneurs, Wara being one of them. She indicates that she joined Pro Mujer three years ago on the invitation of a friend who is a client of the institution. She currently has a business selling furniture. She says that she learned this business three years ago from her parents.

The loan that she is now taking out is to increase her capital (buying wood wholesale) that she will buy at the stalls in the city of El Alto and later fabricate and sell in her sales space. This method of work allows her to generate the resources to support her family economically, as she is single. When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer she replied that she liked the loans and the health services provided by the institution.
