Yolanda Marina's story
Yolanda is an Ecuadorian woman born in Latacunga, belonging to the Mulalo parish of canton Latacunga which belongs to the Cotopaxi province of the Republic of Ecuador. She is 45 years old and a single mother because the father of her children abandoned many years ago. Yolanda has three children but two of them are grown. Only her youngest daughter lives with her in her mother's house, which is located in an extremely rural area of the city known as Pucara. This sector is highly recognized because its people are dedicated to livestock and agriculture. Yolanda has proven to be a fighter and enterprising woman. With the effort and sacrifice of her parents, Yolanda finished high school. Since she finished school, she had to work due to lack of economic resources. Initially she had to find ways to solve and help her husband with the expenses, and she began breeding animals, this was already a great help to her family. After that Yolanda discovered a gift and decided to begin raising and selling small animals and to produce milk . For now she is requesting a loan to invest in her business venture.
