Ana Gilma's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase fattening pigs to sell later or butcher, and to purchase feed and vitamins for them.
Ana Gilma's story
Ana, age 28, doesn’t know how to read or write because she wasn’t able to go to school. Today, she lives with her partner, who does farm work. Ana sells fruit and vegetables at a gas station; work that she has been doing for many years, and that she learned from a girlfriend. There are a lot of people coming into the gas station, so Ana decided to go there to sell. She has to walk a distance of 300 meters to get to her workplace. In addition, she raises fattening pigs for extra income. She is requesting this loan to purchase more fattening pigs, in order to sell them later or butcher them. She will also purchase feed and vitamins for them. Her biggest dream is to have a nice house for her family, and to give her children the opportunity to go to school. She knows that with a lot of sacrifice, she can achieve this.
