Fatima E. baji is a 46 year-old widow and has resided in a city named Multan, Pakistan for the past 35 years. Fatima baji is a graduate passed lady. Her education supports her when she faced crucial circumstances after the death of her husband. Fatima baji became the only breadwinner of her family. She is the mother of four kids: three daughters and one son. Her elder daughter works in a government office. Fatima baji didn’t stop her children’s education even knowing that how difficult it is. She never loses hope; she started a boutique from the committee amount. She got good recognition gradually in the community. Now her elder daughter also helps her in making dresses for the boutique. She has successfully repaid her first loan from Asasah (a microfinance institute of Pakistan). Now she is applying again for a loan to buy material (cloth, colored thread) to make more dresses to display in boutique. She is a group leader of some more women of her locality. Zaitoon begum baji wants a loan to buy scrap for her scrap business. Zahida mai baji wants a loan to buy an auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle). Syeda bano baji wants a loan to buy groceries for her grocery shop. Yasmeen baji wants a loan to buy cotton to sell. This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
