Josefina De Las Rosas's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy more animals for her animal sales business and to build a pen for keeping them.
Josefina De Las Rosas's story
Josefina, 43, is married and has two minor children. The family has a house in Oyotun, a district of Lambayeque along Peru's northern coast. Farming and small commercial businesses are common means of earning a living here. Josefina has operated an animal sales business for five years. She raises and sells poultry: chickens, ducks, turkeys, etc. She runs the business from a yard at her house. She is applying for a loan, part of which she will use to buy more poultry and the rest to build a pen for keeping them. The investment will allow her to meet local demand for poultry and grow her business. The extra earnings will improve her and her family's quality of life.
