Yessenia Mireya's story
The loan group Sagrado Corazón (Sacred Heart) meets every two weeks in the city of Manta, a city known for its beautiful beaches, which are much visited at every season of the year, and for being a city with unequaled beauty and many tourist attractions. Señora Yessenia lives is this place. She is 40 years old. She is married, and from this relationship she has three children, ages 11, 10, and 4. The two older ones are in school. Her husband works in a business in the city. Doña Yessenia is a housewife who, in order to obtain her own income and with this help her husband with the household expenses and the education of their children, sells clothing, shoes, sheets, quilts and Yanbal products (perfumes, creams, jewelry, etc.). Now, with the help of the previous loan she has also started to sell handbags since her clients have always asked her for them. Her form of selling is door to door, and she also sells in her house, where her customers come when they need some product. She leaves her products on credit and collects payments every week. She has been in this business for more than 13 years, and she began it with one of the loans that the group received, for which she is thankful. This loan is to buy perfume, creams, jewelry, sheets, handbags and everything that she sells. She has been in the loan group for 13 years, and she likes it because with the first loan she began her business. Her dreams are to give the best to her children and her family.
