Carmen Beatriz's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to invest in buying supplies and raw materials (chicken, meat, sauces, cold cuts and others).

Carmen Beatriz's story

Carmen is 38 years old. The idea for her business came out of her passion for cooking, a restaurant that she opened years ago. However she had to abandon this work when she was pregnant.

After the birth of her daughter she reactivated her business and today has two fast food stands that are open from Tuesday to Sunday from 4 pm until midnight. She offers delicious steaks, pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers and all kinds of fast foods. She makes her purchases from the deli and meat product distributors and buys her chicken and meat in small shops.

Currently she is applying for a loan from Kiva her first loan through the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo to invest in buying supplies and raw materials (chicken, meat, sauces, cold cuts and others). With three years of operating the market demand requires these supplies to adequately respond to requests without leaving out any essential ingredients in making the food and alter it's quality.

Her goal for the future for her business is to have her own location. Carmen is the mother of 3 children who depend on her economically so she provides them with well-being and also wants them to have a quality education so they become professionals.
