Inn Ga Lone Village Group-2's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to rent farm equipment and purchase crop seeds and petrol for farm equipment.

Inn Ga Lone Village Group-2's story

The funds will help 30 members of the Inn Ga Lone Village Group-2. Pictured above are the CBO leaders, named (from left to right) Khin, Nin, Moe, Hla and Zaw. The Featured Borrower, Khin, has a 10-acre farm in the Delta region of Myanmar. Khin is 43 years old, married, and supports a family of four (two children), the youngest of whom is in eighth grade. Like many farmers in this area, savings are low before the harvest season. The loan will help her purchase the necessary farming resources such as fertilizer. In the near future, she is planning to open a farming equipment shop from profits generated from the crop farming. She hopes that this hard work will pay off for her son’s education.

The CBO leaders oversee a group of 30 borrowers in the village. The funds will help the group purchase farming essentials before harvest time. Inn Ga Lone Village’s main focus is crop farming, as well as other seasonal plantations such as betel trees and flowers, for additional income.
