A loan helped To pay for raw materials to manufacture more stoves and make rugs to sell.
Rhuel is grateful that he was granted a 27,000 PHP loan, which he used to purchase raw materials to make stoves and rugs for sale. With his earnings he is able to send his child to school and meet their daily living expenses. He would now like to apply for a 40,000 PHP loan that he will use to buy more materials to manufacture stoves and to sew rugs to sell. His earnings from his rug- and stove-making is a stable source of income to sustain his family's basic needs and to educate his child in elementary school. He is thanking God and you in advance for the financial help that will be given to him. Rhuel aims to grow his business so he can build his own house. He wants give his child a college education to give him better opportunities in life. Every week, he meets up with his co-fellowship* members to share stories of his work and to draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God that he studies. *All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group comprises 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
