Thanh Yen 6 Group's story

Xuyen, 35, is a Thai man who is married and has two children, a boy 13 years old and a girl 15 years old. He lives with his parents, his wife and his children in a Thai traditional house. Because his parents are at an advanced age, the living of the family relies on the working of Xuyen and his wife. They work at various agriculture activities such as cultivating rice, growing cassava, raising pigs, buffalo, chickens and ducks to have a stable income to provide for the family. The dream of offering a more abundant better life for the children motivates them strongly to continuously expand production.

This is the fourth time he has taken out a loan from the Anh Chi Em Program and he will use it to buy food for the pigs. He hopes that his investment will bring good earnings, so he could improve his family's income significantly. Currently, his children attend school fully and he dreams they will graduate from a good college, get a good job and have a brighter future. In the picture, Xuyen stands the first from the right.
