Alba's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy pigs to fatten up.
Alba is 75 years old, married and has no children. She is hardworking and has a great desire for self improvement. She has spent many years raising animals and her sales do very well because she has many customers due to her good service, which results in a good income. Alba's husband helps her with this business. She keeps the animals in her mother-in-law's house since Alba's house is a housing project granted by the government through the Bono program and there is no space to keep them there. Alba's relatives also help her to raise pigs which is her main business activity, however she also raises chickens at the same time. Alba is a very active client who has a lot of enthusiasm and a long association with the Foundation. She took up the services that the Foundation offered many years ago through the Banco mujer program which she later left, opting for individual loans. This loan will go towards buying pigs, supplies and making some improvements to the pigsty. Alba's goal is to grow, keep herself busy and feel useful by working and supporting her household financially since she aims to improve her quality of life.
