Nerissa's story

Nerissa is grateful that she was granted a PHP 15,000 loan to pay for personal products to sell. Her earnings help support her family and meet their daily basic needs. Nerissa was able to add other essential food items to sell. She would like to apply for another PHP 15,000 loan to buy ingredients such as peanuts, oil, coconut, and sugar to make her peanut butter, other ingredients to prepare her "atsara" (a pickled appetizer made from grated green papaya) and frozen food. She is positive that her earnings will increase as she expands her business. She is thanking God and you in advance for the financial help that will be given her. Nerissa believes that with her hard work, her business will grow and prosper. She hopes to be able to save for old age. She prays for a long and victorious life. She faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week and to draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies . * All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital and repay Micro Finance loans
