Emelia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for grocery items, products and beverages needed in her business.

Emelia's story

Emelia is thankful that she was previously granted a 10000 PHP loan which she used to purchase various grocery items and products needed in her General Store. Through her earnings she is able to send her children to school and meet their daily living expenses. She would now like to apply for a 20000 PHP loan which she will use as her working capital to buy more quantities of grocery items like rice, coffee, soda, rice noodles, and frozen foods which she sells at retail. She knows that more items in her store will yield more sales and thus increase her earnings. Her income from her store is a stable source to sustain her family's basic needs and for the education of her children. She is thanking God and you in advance for the financial help that will be given her. Emelia dreams of having a bigger General Store and aims to give her children a College Education to allow them better opportunities in life. Every week, she meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work and to draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God which she studies. * All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital and repay microfinance loans.
