Inn Ga Lone Village Group 3's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to rent farm equipment and purchase fertilizers and petrol for farm equipment.

Inn Ga Lone Village Group 3's story

The funds will help 18 members from Inn Ga Lone group-3. Pictured above are the CBO members, named (from left to right) Zar, Khin, Thente, Nyunt and Nge. The featured borrower, Thente, has five acres of crop farm in the Delta region of Myanmar, and like many farmers in this area, savings are low before the harvest season. The loan will help her purchase the necessary farming resources she needs before harvest.

Thente is thirty-six years old and married. She is proud to be a farmer because she believes as a rice farmer she is serving good for the society, even though she has to face challenging difficulties in rice farming such as not having enough capital. From the profits, she hopes to save some money for her mother’s health care for the future.

The CBO leaders oversee a group of eighteen borrowers in the village. The funds will help the group purchase farming essentials before harvest time. Inn Ga Lone Village mainly focuses on crop farming, as well as other seasonal plantations such as betel leaves and flowers, for additional income.
