Narine's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to pay for a cow, a pig, and forage to feed the livestock.
Narine, her husband, her mother-in-law and her two children live in Arevabuyr village, in the Ararat region. She has been running an agricultural business for the past several years. Narine owns greenhouses where she cultivates greens, tomato and potatoes. The farm also includes livestock, such as cows, calves, hens, pigs and piglets. Narine’s favorite thing about her business is that it earns her money, and what make her proud is that it enables her to take care of her children. With this loan, Narine wants to purchase a cow, a pig and forage for feeding the livestock. As this is her first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the joint initiative between Kiva and SEF. The First-Chance loan program provides loans to people who didn’t have access to credit products before because they have no credit history. Through this joint initiative, almost 500 borrowers like Narine get a chance to have their first loans and develop their businesses. Narine hopes for the lenders' support.
