Valentina's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to pay for three oxen and forage for feeding the livestock.
Valentina lives in Gargar village of Lori region alone. Her only son is married and lives with his family separately. After her husband passed away, Valentina had to take care of their farm alone. Despite a number of difficulties, Valentina was able to sustain her farm and currently keeps six cows, calves and two piglets. Near her house, Valentina also grows potatoes. This loan will enable Valentina to purchase three oxen and forage for feeding the livestock. As this is her first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the joint initiative between Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who didn’t have access to credit products before because they have no credit history. Through this joint initiative, almost 500 borrowers like Valentina get a chance to have their first loans and develop their businesses. Valentina hopes to receive lenders' support and develop her farm.
