Rowelyn's story

When we fail to plan, we plan to fail. And it is never an optio for Rowelyn to fail. That is why, with a dream to send her children to school and make them finish their studies, she is working very hard to push her business to progress. Rowelyn is a 33-year-old resident of Payatas, Quezon City, Philippines. She is currently acquainted with selling biscuits in town. With her husband, Manuel, she runs the business with passion and hope. They also trade charcoal. They would like to have more supplies to sell and requests 9,000 PHP to purchase more quantities of biscuits. She looks forward to this financial assistance and prays that more blessings will come to all lenders who continually supporting entrepreneurs like her. She meets weekly with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her life and business and to draw strength and inspiration from the fellowship and the Word of God. *All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay Micro Finance loans.
