Banco Mujer Fuentes De Vida Group's story

María Isabel is the president this communal bank, Banco Mujer Fuentes de Vida. She is 54 years old, married, and has three children. All of them are now adults but they are currently living with her, as well as her grandchildren. She has always worked with livestock. She and her husband own cattle. Some of the cows are dairy cows, and they use their milk to make cheese, which they sell throughout their community. Her husband is at an age where it is hard for him to find work, which is why they run this business. It is their household's main source of income. They carry out the whole cheese-making process. They also sell other dairy products, like sour cream and cottage cheese, from the milk of two of their cows. María Isabel wants financing in order to buy another dairy cow. Throughout its history with Fundación Mujer, this group has always been responsible and timely. Its members are very hard workers and they all share the same goal: to grow and improve themselves and their businesses in order to generate income and contribute to their households so that their living conditions improve. Besides María, the group comprises three other members who will invest in their retail and livestock businesses, respectively.
