A loan helped to purchase more bread to sell.

Jocelyn's story

Jocelyn, 42, is a married woman with three children, all of whom are in school. Jocelyn has a retail bread business in the Philippines, which she has been running for 13 years. Jocelyn requested a 13,000 PHP loan through Kiva's partner, Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, to purchase more bread to sell. She successfully repaid her previous loan, and now she has requested another loan to further build her businesses. She would like to save enough money to send her children to college.
