Ashura's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fish and meet her customers' demand.

Ashura's story

Ashura, who is in her early 40s, is married and has two children who are still at school. She has been selling fish for 20 years now. She works from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and is able to make a good monthly profit.

This will be Ashura's 10th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to keep increasing her fish stock and has paid back all her loans successfully. She is happy with the loan and appreciates Kiva for their support. She used the profit to pay school fees, make loan repayments, buy a plot of land, build her own house, cover household expenses, and buy a TV set, a radio, beds, and cupboards.

Ashura will use this loan to buy fish and meet her customers' demand. She dreams of becoming an international business woman.

Ashura will hold herself responsible for making sure her loan gets paid back successfully.
