A loan helped to buy more stock of ladies shoes for her son's business.
Zakia's Group's story
Zakia is the age of 42, living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. Her son owns a shoe shop in which he sells a variety of shoes. He buys shoes from different shoe manufacturing companies and sells at the shop. He has been selling gents shoes only, but now he wants to offer ladies shoes as well, according to customer’s demands, but the major problem is the lack of a lump sum amount. Therefore, Zakia requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan, so that her son would be able to buy ladies shoes as well. Zakia is very happy after taking this loan and says thanks to Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan.
