Sary's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more pigs and food for the pigs.

Sary's Group's story

Sary is 40 years old, married, and has three children, two of whom attend school. She is from a rural area of Mongkul Borey district of Banteay Meanchey province. The main source of her family’s income is from feeding pigs to sell, which she has been doing for 20 years. She also works for other farms to earn additional income. Sary earns around 31,800 KHR per day and saves around 10,000 KHR daily for her needs. Sary's group, which consists of two members, requested their fourth loan from VisionFund. The previous loan helped Sary's family to have a better standard of living and pay school fees for her children to school. She will use her portion of the loan to buy more pigs and food for the pigs. She hopes that she can earn enough money to create a new business.
