Margubahon's story

Margubahon is 37, married, and has three school-age children. Her family is close-knit and respectable. She has a high school education and raises livestock and plants crops. She started a business 15 years ago and now she is a successful farmer with a small farm of three sheep and a 0.18 hectare plot of land where she plants potatoes and tomatoes. She earns around 10,000 som (KGS) per month. She tries to invest the farm’s profits in developing her business. Margubahon applied for a loan with Bai Tushum Bank in the amount of 50,000 som (KGS) to buy fertilizer and seed potatoes. She wants to expand her business and build a greenhouse.
