Ruzanna's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for cabbage seeds and polyethylene cover for the greenhouse to prepare the farm for the new cultivation season and to earn income for the family's living.

Ruzanna's story

Ruzanna is a farmer from Geghakert village of the Armavir region. She lives with her husband. With the help of her husband, Ruzanna is extensively engaged in agribusiness, which is the main source of the family's income. They cultivate haricot, cabbage, and grow strawberries. Ruzanna's husband sells the agricultural products in the local market. Ruzanna and her husband work hard to be able to cover the increasing needs of their family. As life is getting more expensive day by day, Ruzanna wants to expand her agribusiness a little bit to be able to meet the daily costs of the family more effectively. She needs a loan to purchase cabbage seeds and a polyethylene cover for the greenhouse. As this is Ruzanna's first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the joint initiative between Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who didn’t have access to credit products before because they have no credit history. She and her husband will be very thankful to the lenders for their goodwill and support.
