Muhogo One Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy first-class secondhand clothes to meet his customers' requirements and demands.
Muhogo One Group's story
Salumu, who is in his early 40s, is married with three children; two of them are grown-up and one is still at school. He has been selling secondhand clothes since 1995. He works from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and is able to make a good monthly profit. This will be Salumu's seventh loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loans to continue increasing the secondhand clothes stock and has paid back all his loans successfully. He used the profit to pay school fees, bought a TV set, a radio, sofa set, fridge, cupboard and covered household expenses. He will use this loan to buy first-class secondhand clothes to meet his customers' requirements and demands. He dreams of buying a big stock of secondhand clothes. Salum will share this loan with his loan group, Muhogo One, which has five members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
