Sofia is a woman of 49 years, she is divorced and has one son who is 11 years old and a daughter who is 6 years old. Her business is the sale of vegetables. She is entrepreneurial, determined, a strong fighter, a good mother, responsible and hardworking. Her work is performed on an itinerant basis in various markets in the city, characterized by informal trade where they manufacture and produce, competing side by side to win over customers. There is a cold and dry climate with temperatures that vary during the day between 0 and 12 degrees Celsius. Sofia has a dark complexion, brown eyes, long black braided hair, medium height, traditional dress (skirt, blanket and hat), and her maternal language is Quechua which she speaks with her family, and she speaks Spanish in general culture and for the business she does (in the center right wearing a pink skirt, pink sweater and white blouse). She shares her life with her children who study in school. They live in their own house made of brick and cement with a tin roof and that has electricity and well water drawn by an electric pump. Her dreams of growth led her to lead a bank of people with business such as: a bakery, selling vegetables, selling breakfast, plastics trade, selling chicken, and taxi services, to apply for a loan to improve their businesses. Her business is peddling vegetables such as carrots, potatoes, lettuce, peppers, broccoli, spinach, and others. Daily, she pushes a cart with two wheels filled with vegetables, and she arrives at trade shows and markets and opens her umbrella fastened with a clamp to place orders of boxes of fruits and vegetables. She does this activity every day of the week during all hours of the day. "My routine begins early in the morning, I arrive early to the show to find a place to open my stall..." she says. The advantage of her business is that she wonders through the most popular markets in the city, and the disadvantage is that there are times when the vegetables rise in price and the earnings are less. Her dream is to buy a fixed stall in the market, she wants to buy vegetables and fruits in bulk in order to provide several products for sale. This is the second loan sequence with this institution in the 5 years that she has been doing this activity. It is for these reasons that Sofia requests a loan to buy fruits and vegetables wholesale to open a permanent stall.
