Naira's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to pay for potato seeds (125 kg), cover cultivation costs and purchase a polyethylene cover for the greenhouse.

Naira's story

Naira is from Arshaluys village in the Aramvir region, with her husband and two daughters. They all are involved in the farming business. The farm includes potatoes, cabbage and greens and Naira and her husband sell the gathered products in local markets. Their farm is small but profitable. All the available resources are used for survival and nothing remains to invest in the farm and enlarge it.

Naira, with the goal of developing and enlarging their farm, is asking for this loan. She plans to purchase potato seeds (125 kg), cover cultivation costs and purchase a polyethylene cover for the greenhouse. As this is her first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who didn’t have access to credit products before because they have no credit history.

Naira and all her family members hope for the lenders' support.
