Nhóm 17- An Thanhv2 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for the construction of a hygienic toilet and a hand-washing device with soap.

Nhóm 17- An Thanhv2 Group's story

Lua, pictured first from the left, is a 44-year-old farmer who makes about VND 700,000 monthly. She is married and has two children who are attending university. She has been member of the local Women's Union since 1990. Lua is fully aware of the fact that using a degraded double-pit latrine has the risks of potential adverse effects on the health of her family members and her community and of causing environmental contamination. However, she has not yet been able to construct a septic tank latrine due to a shortage of funds. A portion of Group Nhóm 17-An ThanhV2's loan will help Lua, as well as other group members, build a hygienic toilet in her home. This will improve her family's hygiene and health and contribute to the sanitary improvement in her community.
