Neba's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy Irish potatoes, beans and yellow yams.

Neba's story

Neba is married with four children and they live in a five-room house in Bamenda in the North West Region of Cameroon. Neba has faced various problems in her life, ranging from the lack of concern shown by family members after the death of her mother and child, ill health, inadequate finance to provide standard education and medication for her family, together with poor sales. All this has hindered her a lot. The new loan she has requested will be used to buy food items such as beans, Irish potatoes and yellow yams for retail sale. She is so optimistic that she will succeed because she has been running the business for quite some time and has got lots of experience and a good technique, coupled with the fact that her business is located in a strategic position with an availability of ready customers. The profit from this loan will be used to increase the size of the business, raise the standard of family well being, and provide for children's school fees, as well as to construct a house for her family. Neba prefers a loan from GHAPE because of the low interest rates with convenient repayment duration. They also offer non-financial services like training to manage business capital for success, and profit and loss account details. She also benefits from the ideas exchanged through monthly meetings and the social networking, and not leaving out the fact that she is constantly followed up for proper utilization of the loan.
