Sara's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to pay for ten piglets, two calves, and forage for feeding the livestock.
Sara, a skilled farmer with 20 years of experience, lives in Nor Khachakap village. She lives with her husband who supports her with farming activities. Their only son lives and works in another town. Sara's and her husband's main occupation is agriculture. They keep cows, calves, piglets and hens. They also cultivate potatoes and sell them in local markets. To be able to enlarge her farming business, Sara has applied for this loan to purchase ten piglets, two calves, and forage for feeding the livestock. As this is Sara's first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the new joint initiative of Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who didn’t have access to credit products before, because they have no credit history.
