Victoria's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to pay for two calves, seeds, fertilizer, and fuel for land cultivation.
Victoria is from Hovtun village, where she lives with her husband, mother-in-law, and four-year-old child. She is a farmer. On the farm, Victoria keeps livestock and organizes cultivation of land from which she harvests wheat and barley. Victoria's husband owns a tractor, which he rents out or uses to provide cultivation work for his fellow villagers. To enlarge her farm and make it more profitable, Victoria has applied for this loan. As this is Victoria's first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the new joint initiative of Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who did not have access to credit products before because they have no credit history.
