Samina Bibi's story
Samina Bibi is a 31-year-old woman with 3 children, residing in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. For the past 10 years her husband has been running a general store and is solely responsible for fulfilling the needs of his entire family. Samina Bibi's husband wants to purchase different kinds of commodities such as rice, sugar, tea bags, milk, and other consumer items for his business purposes. But due to financial constraints he is not in a suitable position to buy all the above products for reselling purposes. Therefore Samina Bibi has applied for a Kiva loan from its field partner BRAC Pakistan. This loan will enable her husband to buy all of these commodities and also help him earn maximum profit to provide for his household and business. Samina Bibi is very thankful to Kiva and BRAC Pakistan.
