Soknov's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy rice seeds and potash.
Soknov's Group's story
Residing in a rural village of Tbaung Khmum village of Kampong Cham province, Soknov is a 34 year-old married woman with two children, whom are her dependents. Her main incomes are from rice farming and being a paid worker for 16 years. With the two jobs, she can earn 44,200 KHR. Her family can save 26,100 KHR daily after their expenses. This is the second time that Soknov has become a member of Kiva’a partner, VisionFund. She has completed repaying her previous loan with success. In a group of two, with the total amount of 1,100,000 KHR, she is a leader whose loan portion is 800,000 KHR. For Soknov, her entire loan portion will be spent on purchasing rice seeds and potash. Since the previous loan enabled her family to acquire daily equipment and tools to use, she is hoping that the new loan can help her children to continue their studies.
