Gulkaiyr is 60 years old, married and a mother to three children. She has a higher education and is retired. As an additional source of income for her large and close-knit family, Gulkaiyr practices livestock breeding and crop farming. She has 2 cows, 30 sheep and 3 horses on her farm. She also has a 4.0 hectare plot of land on which she grows beans for sale. She has all of the necessary conditions for housing cattle. In the summer, she puts her cows out to pasture; In the winter, she houses them in warm barns. For the further development of her business, Gulkaiyr turned to Microfinance Bank "Bai Tushum." She is requesting a loan for 110,000 som (KGS) to buy two cows with calves to increase the size of her herd. She plans to invest the earnings from the loan in the further expansion of her business, as well as her children's upbringing and education.
