Marcelina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for gardening supplies.

Marcelina's story

Marcelina is grateful that she was granted a prior 50,000 PHP loan, which she used to buy gardening materials and supplies such as seeds and fertilizer. Through the earnings made possible by this loan, she was better able to support her family and meet their daily basic needs. Now she is requesting a new loan for another PHP 50,000 which she will use to buy more fertilizer and farm supplies to produce a greater harvest on her farm. She is grateful for having the chance to earn a good return on her investment, and dreams of being able to make her farm grow and flourish. She prays for the health and protection of her children as they go to work, and faithfully meets with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week and draw strength and inspiration from her religion. * All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners who gather each week to study religion, build social capital and repay microfinance loans.
