Las Rosas De San Martin Group's story

The communal bank "Las Rosas de San Martin" will begin the second cycle in Pro Mujer, as part of the Focal Center of Cascada. It is composed of eight members and is directed by a board of directors of which Liliana is the president. The businesses that the members of the communal bank undertake are various, amongst them are: CD sales, fried potato sales, call service, blanket sales, tea service, ritual service, and condiment sales. The loan that they take out will benefit the small microbusinesspeople where Liliana is a member. She indicates that she joined Pro Mujer a year ago, coming in at the invitation of a friend who is a client of the institution. Nowadays she has a condiment sales business. Let it be known that she started this business several years ago when she acquired a sheet of condiments. Little by little she decided to specialize in these products and expand her merchandise with Pro Mujer. The loan she will now get is for augmenting her capital (purchase of condiments wholesale) which she will get from the wholesale sellers in the city of El Alto and then she will sell them in her sales location. This kind of work permits her to generate resources to help her family economically since she is single. When she was asked what she liked about Pro Mujer, she said that she liked the trainings offered by the institution.
