Zharkynai's story

Zharkynai is 48 years old, married, and she has five children. She has a secondary education and she has been involved in agriculture since 1998. This activity constitutes her family's main source of income. She currently owns three cows and she grows potatoes on one hectare of irrigated land. Zharkynai is known as a principled, honest, respectable and reliable person. At the moment, she makes a monthly income of 7,000 som (KGS) from the sale of milk, livestock and potatoes. In order to further grow her farming business, she has turned to Bai Tushum Bank CJSC for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) which will be used to buy potato seeds as well as additional cattle for fattening and resale. She is planning to use the earnings from her loan to develop her farming business, and she also wants to build a barn for her cattle.
