Karafuu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy stock of charcoal for her store so as to capture more people.

Karafuu Group's story

Anna is 43 years old, not married and has got three schooling children. She takes care of her children herself and her business is where she raises income for her family needs. She currently runs two businesses, a charcoal store as her main business and she is partly involved with poultry. She has been with these businesses for ten years, working from 6am to 8pm daily. Anna is able to make a fair monthly profit.

From Tujijenge Tanzania, this is her tenth credit request to be apportioned among Karafuu, a three-member group. The group members will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan. With her previous nine loans, Anna managed to buy sacks of charcoal and partly paid school fees for her kids. She really appreciates Kiva's support. She now has a plot of land and has started to build. She has paid back successfully her previous loans.
With her new loan, she will invest to buy stock of charcoal for her store so as to capture more people. Her desire is to be a great business woman.
