Justino's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to acquire a 10-cubic-meter Sistema Biobolsa biodigester.
Justino found out about Sistema Biobolsa through his friends, and was very interested in the opportunity to produce his own renewable energy and organic fertilizer. Indeed, the price of fossil fuel-based LP gas and chemical fertilizers is an important constraint on his finances, and significantly reduces his available income. By investing in his biodigester, Justino will not only save money by transforming his cows' manure into biogas and biofertilizer, but he will also protect the environment and improve his quality of life. Indeed, the waste he used to pile up outside the farm was contaminating underground water sources and emitting greenhouse gases, while his wife was cooking using wood, inhaling the toxic smoke on a daily basis. By connecting the biodigester to the cookstove and boiler in the house, LP gas and wood will become irrelevant and there will no longer be smoke in the house. In addition, Justino's corn field will grow stronger as he applies the nutrient-rich fertilizer on his plants, nourishing the soil in a sustainable way. This loan represents 20% of the total cost of the biodigester, the remaining part being covered by a government subsidy.
