Burul's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy additional calves in order to increase her income.
Burul is 56 years old, a widow, and the mother of four children. Her youngest child is 17 years old. Burul has a secondary education. As an additional source of income for her family, she has been involved in animal husbandry for more than 20 years. Thanks to her determination and very hard work, she currently owns two cows, two calves, one foal, and 14 sheep. In the summer, the livestock is put out to pasture, in the winter Burul keeps her animals in a barn. She makes a monthly income of about 15,000 som (KGS), which is not enough for a decent living. For this reason, and after discussing with her children, Burul has decided to take a loan to further grow her business. She has turned to Bai Tushum Bank CJSC for a loan of 125,000 som (KGS), which will help her to buy calves. Burul wants to increase her cattle headcount in order to boost her total earnings from animal sales.
