Ramia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to start trading with cattle and expand her agribusiness.
Ramia is a 28-year-old married woman, from the village Nazarlo. She has two children and a husband, who is a private artisan and generates a small income. Ramia works hard on family-owned agricultural land, growing greens seasonally and trading with them. However, the family doesn't have a large enough income for living in normal living conditions or for covering all daily expenses. Ramia has a great desire to expand her agribusiness and start farming. She sought credit among local financial institutions, but her attempts were unsuccessful because of her poor living conditions. The startup program that is the joint initiative between Kiva and Credo enables the rural poor to get a loan for starting or re-starting businesses. Her application was approved under the framework of this program to get a loan of 3,000 GEL for purchasing cattle and starting to sell it to the local market for increased prices. The loan will greatly assist Ramia and she will be able to improve her economic situation and give her family a better style of life, especially a good education for her children. Ramia awaits your support.
