Nia Njema Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy food cooking ingredients such as rice, beans, sugar, maize and baking flour.

Nia Njema Group's story

Halima is a mother of two schooling children. She is in her mid-30s. She has had a mamalishe business serving food such as cooked rice, ugali, banana with meat, beans and vegetables. Halima has been in this business for two years now. She does business from 6 am to 9 pm per working day and is able to make a fair monthly profit. From Tujijenge Tanzania, this is her second loan request to be apportioned among Nia Njema's two-member group. The group members will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan. With her previous loan, paid back successfully, she bought mamalishe cooking ingredients. She is now requesting another loan, which she will use to buy food cooking ingredients such as rice, beans, sugar, maize and baking flour. Halima's dream is to build a classic restaurant.
