Banco Mujer Nuevo Caribe Group's story

Shirley is a member of the New Caribbean Woman Bank group, which was created several years ago. The group has requested four loans historically, and they have been very good at loan repayment. The group currently consists of 10 members engaged in commercial and service activities. Shirley is married with three children, all of whom are high school students. She works very hard to contribute to the cost of their studies. This hardworking woman started selling every type of merchandise as a street vendor. She even undertook starting up a small business selling groceries from her own home. She has achieved all of this thanks to previous funding and good resource management. For the requested new loan, she plans to invest in working capital in the form of groceries, soft drinks, candy and other items to supply her business.
