Aminta's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase an oven, either electrical or craft, to make and sell bread.
Amina, who is 41 years old, studied until second grade. She is married and her husband works in bread sales; she has three children, one who lives with them. Aminta has had a pupusería (a shop selling stuffed tortillas) for 4 years. She learned on her own initiative. She and her husband also go and sell fruits and vegetables in nearby communities. They have sales every 2 days, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. She needs the loan to purchase an oven, either electrical of craft, to make and sell her own bread, since she has the knowledge to do the trade, and invest the rest in the sale of pupusas (thick corn tortilla stuffed with cheese, fried pork rind, chicken, or refried beans). Aminta hopes that her sales increase, and to also sell tortillas in the future, because she will have the help of a sister-in-law to make the business more efficient.
