Kanaiym's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy 10 sheep to increase her herd.
Kanaiym is 49 years old, married, and the mother of four children. She has the equivalent of a high school education. She works in animal husbandry and agriculture, two activities which constitute her family's main source of income. She started in this field 14 years ago when she purchased her first livestock for 10,000 som (KGS). Kanaiym and her family have worked very hard over the years and they currently own two cows and 20 sheep. Kanaiym also grows hay and beans on 1.5 hectare of leased land and 1.5 hectare of her own land. She sells milk on a daily basis and makes a monthly income of 10,000 som (KGS). In order to further develop her farming business, she has turned to Bai Tushum for a loan of 65,000 som (KGS). She will use her loan to buy 10 sheep in order to increase her livestock headcount. She is planning to reinvest the earnings from her loan into further increasing her number of farm animals.
