A loan helped to purchase one cow and cattle feed for the winter season.
Gulnara is 53 years old, married, and has 5 children. Gulnara has a secondary-specialized education. As the main source of income for her family, she has been farming since 1995. She started this business with 10,000 som (KGS). Gulnara has 5 cows, 2 horses and 20 sheep on her farm. She also has a 7.11 hectare plot of land on which she grows beets, clover and barley. Gulnara's organic produce is in high demand and brings in a good income of about 30,000 som (KGS). For the further development of her business, she turned to Microfinance Bank 'Bai Tushum." She is requesting a loan for 100,000 som (KGS) to buy a cow and cattle feed for the winter. Having a store of cattle and good feed for them during the winter will allow her to receive healthy offspring from them. Gulnara plans to invest the earnings from the loan in the expansion of her business so that she can save money for her son's wedding.
